RaluFineArt plants trees in Transylvania, Romania

Not long time ago to be more precisely only few months ago RaluFineArt became a reforestation partner of OneTreePlanted Organisation, so for every product sold a tree is planted. Trees are crucial to our eco-system and critical natural resources. Trees not only provide the oxygen we all need but also play a massive role in maintaining a balance in the eco-system keeping our environment healthy. 

In the last 20 years in Romania the trees were illegally cut and since some time the forests are under serious threat, hundreads of hectares are each year turned into sand dunes. From 2001 until 2017 Romania lost 317 000 hectares of tree cover. Transylvania rich bio-diversity is in danger and due to the climate changes and the population moving from countryside into cities many agricultural lands are abandoned and this brings soil erosion and the degradation of the landscape. 

RaluFineArt takes part in the reforestation project that takes place around the picturesque UNESCO world heritage site Sighisoara made up of 13th century Romanian Saxon villages. Planting trees in this area will revitalize the environment helping the wildlife to return to this area, helping to regulate the local climate and improve the water retention for the villages around.
